Listed below are answers to questions that relate to our weekends.


What kind of weather can I expect?

July is the hottest month in Cornwall with an average temperature of 16°C (61°F) and the coldest is February at 6°C (42°F) with the most daily sunshine hours at 7 in August. The wettest month is December with an average of 120mm of rain. The best month to swim in the sea is in August when the average sea temperature is 17°C (63°F).

What kind of camping and accommodations are available?

Spartan Survival will provide tarpaulins for the Friday night then you will make a shelter that will provide warmth and shelter for the second night.

What kind of amenities are on site?

We supply enough water for the weekend so you will be able to wash and stay clean, as for the call of nature we do have a designated area for you to use, but there are public amenities in Seaton.

Should I bring food, is any provided?

Food will be the game you prepare on our basic course, but you can bring enough for the weekend if you wish. For the more advanced courses you should bring enough for 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 evening meals. We will supply tea and coffee.

Is water available on site?

Yes, we provide drinking water from our jerry cans.

Where should I park?

There is paid parking in the local area, but we will pay this for you.

Are pets allowed?

Simple answer is no, we have to respect our surroundings and other students.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is allowed but please respect others and take your litter with you.

What should I bring?

A kit list will be provided for each course.
